How do I get started with Heeler?

Yes. Heeler supports multiple users with role-based permissions. You can invite team members as owners, managers, or employees, each with appropriate access levels for your operation.

Collie

Questions about compliance, traceability, and animal records.

What is Collie?

Collie is our compliance and traceability app. It tracks animal IDs, movements, and health records so when the auditor calls, you've got it all. Built for farms, ranches, stockyards, and anyone who has to answer to USDA, APHIS, or a state vet.

Which identifiers does Collie support?

840 AIN, NUES, scrapie tags, brands, and your own custom IDs. Every animal can have multiple tags on one record, and primary/electronic identifiers are tracked separately. RFID-friendly.

Does Collie generate ICVIs?

Yes. Generate the certificate of veterinary inspection for an interstate move, your vet signs it, and we keep the copy. The compliance rules engine checks the move against jurisdiction rules and flags anything missing.

How does the compliance check work?

The rules engine runs against every animal and every movement. It returns pass, warning, or fail, with the specific reason — expired TB tests, missing tags, unreported movements past the 7-day window, etc. You see the same view the auditor would.

Can Collie report movements to government systems?

Movements are logged with departure and destination holdings, dates, and journey times. We track reporting clocks so you don't miss deadlines. Direct integration with government reporting systems is on the roadmap.

Is Collie free to start?

Yes. The Backyard tier is free for up to 100 animals — no credit card. Farm is $600/year for up to 1,000 animals; Feedlot is $2,400/year for up to 10,000.

Does Collie work with Heeler?

Yes. Heeler and Collie share the same login, the same organization, and the same animal records. Sale tickets in Heeler can pull from Collie's animal IDs and compliance status.

Grazer

Questions about facility maps, pens, paddocks, and feed.

What is Grazer?

Grazer is our facility and land management app. Draw your fields, pens, and paddocks on a satellite map. Track what's in each one, what they're eating, and what they cost you per day.

Can I map multiple sites?

Yes. Run two yards, three ranches, half a dozen leases — one login, one place to look. Each site has its own map, capacity, and assignments.

Does Grazer track feed costs?

Yes. Ingredients on hand, rations you mix, what each pen is eating, and what it costs per head per day. The cost of gain number — feed, labor, overhead — broken out per pen.

How do pen assignments work?

Move animals or livestock groups between pens with a date and notes. Each pen shows current head count, capacity, ration, and utilization. Snapshots track history so you can see what was where on any past date.

Can I share access with my feed crew?

Yes. Hand specific pens to your feed truck driver, see who fed what and when. Role-based permissions, so the crew only sees what they need to.

Is Grazer free to start?

Yes. The Starter tier is free for up to 10 fields, pens, or paddocks — no credit card. Working Yard is $500/year for up to 50; Feedyard is $1,000/year for unlimited.

Does Grazer work with Heeler and Collie?

Yes. All three share the same organization. A pen in Grazer can be the holding location for an animal in Collie, and the head counts roll up into your Heeler inventory.
